US Sanctions Chinese Firms, Individuals Over Oil And Iran

“We’re telling China, and all nations—know that we will sanction every violation of sanctions of all activity,” said U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at United Against Nuclear Iran’s annual summit.

The United States sanctioned five individuals and six companies on Wednesday for violating U.S. sanctions on Iran.

The entities designated for transporting oil from Iran were Cosco Shipping Tanker Co., Cosco Shipping Tanker Seaman, Ship Management Co., China Concord Petroleum Co., Kunlun Holding Company Ltd., Kunlun Shipping Company Limited and Pegasus 88 Limited.

Their chief executives—Yi Li, Yu Hua Mao, Luqian Shen, Bin Xu and Yazhou Xu—were sanctioned.
